The Common Logistics Command & Control System (CLC2S) is a Marine Corps logistics command-and-control (LogC2) application used to request, route, and track combat service support — giving Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF) units and operations centers visibility of supply and maintenance status during operations and exercises. It is one of three applications (alongside the Transportation Capacity Planning Tool, TCPT, and web-STRATIS) supported under the MAGTF Logistics Support Systems (MLS2) program, and access requires a signed SAAR (DD Form 2875) and CAC.

What it is

CLC2S provides a LogC2 capability for managing combat service support requests: units transact requests (for example, resupply of food, fuel, and other classes of supply) and those requests are routed to and tracked by the supporting unit's operations center. CLC2S is deployed as one of the MLS2 family of applications, alongside TCPT (transportation and movement planning) and web-STRATIS (storage and retrieval tracking); all three were the subject of a MAGTF Logistics Support Systems (MLS2) cloud migration effort to move them into a Government-approved cloud environment.

Who operates it

CLC2S is managed under the Navy's Program Executive Office for Manpower, Logistics and Business Solutions (PEO MLB), specifically the Logistics Integrated Information Solutions – Marine Corps (LI2S-MC) program office, designated PMW 230, which holds acquisition and sustainment responsibility for the MLS2 application portfolio. Day-to-day help desk support for CLC2S, TCPT, and STRATIS is provided through the MLS2 Support service desk.

Access

CLC2S is a CAC-authenticated Marine Corps system; the directory's stored "public" access value is incorrect. New users must submit a completed SAAR (DD Form 2875, current revision) and a Cyber Awareness Training certificate to the MLS2 project office; SAARs are routed through Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) for approval, and account expiration is tied to the user's CAC/PIV certificate expiration. The system's own login endpoint (www.clc2s1.usmc.mil) was unreachable (connection refused) as of this review; the MLS2 Service Desk (mls2support.atlassian.net) is the current, working access-request and support portal and should be treated as the operative public-facing entry point.

How logisticians use it

Marines use CLC2S to originate and track logistics requests — such as resupply of consumables — giving commanders and logistics operations centers real-time visibility into supply and maintenance status across the MAGTF. Used together with TCPT, it supports transportation and logistics planning for deployed forces during both exercises and real-world operations.

Related systems

CLC2S is administered alongside the Transportation Capacity Planning Tool (TCPT) and web-STRATIS under the same MLS2 program office and shared support desk; account requests, outages, and documentation for all three are handled through the same MLS2 Service Desk portal.
