DLA eDAASINQ

DLA eDAASINQ is the enhanced, PKI/CAC-gated version of DAASINQ, the Defense Automatic Addressing System (DAAS) inquiry tool operated by DLA Transaction Services. Where basic DAASINQ is a public lookup, eDAASINQ adds expanded query options and bulk file downloads (by service, in delimited formats) for COMMRI, DoDAAC, MAPAC, NIIN, and Routing Identifier Code (RIC) data — restricted to users who hold a System Access Request (SAR) on file with DAAS.

eDAASINQ is the advanced query and download interface for DAAS reference data: Communications Routing Identifiers (COMMRI), DoD Activity Address Codes (DoDAAC), Military Assistance Program Address Codes (MAPAC), National Item Identification Numbers (NIIN), and Routing Identifier Codes (RIC). It sits alongside the simpler, publicly accessible DAASINQ, which covers the same data categories for single-record lookups without an account. eDAASINQ's distinguishing features are complex/wildcard queries and downloadable result sets by service, delivered in delimited (e.g., TA1) formats.

The Defense Automatic Addressing System (DAAS), part of DLA Transaction Services (formerly DAASC, the Defense Automatic Addressing System Center), operates DAASINQ/eDAASINQ. DAAS is also the Central Control Point for the DoD Activity Address Directory (DoDAAD) and controls access to DoDAAD-linked applications via System Access Requests.

eDAASINQ requires PKI/CAC authentication plus an approved System Access Request (SAR) submitted to DAAS — it is not open to the general public. (This differs from basic DAASINQ, which is available to any user without an account.) SAR requests are submitted through the DAAS System Access Request portal. Because eDAASINQ requires authenticated DoD credentials, the correct classification for this listing is CAC-plus-SAR ("saar_required"), not public.
