USN DoDAAC and RIC Search is a NAVSUP-operated lookup tool, hosted on the MyNAVSUP web platform, for finding the activity, point of contact, and address behind a Navy Department of Defense Activity Address Code (DoDAAC) or Routing Identifier Code (RIC). It is a CAC/PKI-gated Navy tool, not a public website — access requires registering a DoD PKI certificate with MyNAVSUP first.
What it is
The tool lets registered users search Navy DoDAAC and RIC records to identify the owning unit or activity, its mailing/shipping address, and its listed point of contact. DoDAACs and RICs are used throughout DoD logistics to route and validate requisitions and shipments to the correct activity.
Who operates it
The tool is hosted under the mynavsup.nag.navy.mil domain, part of the MyNAVSUP platform operated by Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP). NAVSUP is the Navy's supply systems command and is one of the Military Service DoDAAD coordinators that feed data into the Defense Logistics Agency's DoD Activity Address Directory (DoDAAD).
Access
This is not a public tool. The mynavsup.nag.navy.mil login portal (/my.policy) presents a DoD PKI/CAC authentication and U.S. Government warning-and-consent page, consistent with restricted DoD-network access. NAVSUP's public Access Info page (linked above) describes the process for requesting a MyNAVSUP secure URL, which requires registering a DoD PKI or PIV certificate before first use. There is no indication of a formal SAAR-based account-request process separate from this PKI registration step.
How logisticians use it
Navy supply and transportation personnel use DoDAAC/RIC lookups to identify or confirm the activity, address, and POC tied to a code when building, validating, or troubleshooting requisitions, shipments, and related supply transactions.
Related systems
Related references for DoDAAC/RIC lookups include the DoD Activity Address Directory (DoDAAD), maintained by the Defense Logistics Agency, and DLA Transaction Services' public DAASINQ/eDAASINQ lookup tools, which provide a non-CAC-gated way to search DoDAAC, RIC, and related codes across all services.
