Sets, Kits, and Outfits (SKO) is a supply-classification concept, not a single online tool: it describes stock-numbered items whose unit of issue is a "set," "kit," or "outfit" — an assortment of related pieces (often different sizes or types of the same item) issued and accounted for together under one National Stock Number (NSN). Within the Navy's expeditionary supply system, SKO breakdowns appear as component listings inside a unit's Table of Allowance (TOA), letting logisticians see the individual piece NSNs that make up a kit-level NSN.
What it is
A stock-numbered set, kit, or outfit bundles multiple component items under a single NSN for issue and accountability purposes. An SKO breakdown lists, in NSN sequence, the individual piece(s) contained within each set/kit/outfit NSN — so a supply user who only has the kit-level stock number can identify what it actually contains. In the Navy expeditionary context, these groupings are cross-referenced against a unit's Table of Allowance (TOA), the authorized list of systems, equipment, and material for an expeditionary unit's mission.
