Navy ERP MPL, Master COG, and SLOC Listings is a set of reference lookups hosted on NAVSUP's MyNAVSUP web application portal, used by Navy supply and logistics personnel to check master data values used in Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (Navy ERP) and related NAVSUP supply systems. The application requires a DoD Common Access Card (CAC) and is not reachable by the general public.

What it is

The tool is a NAVSUP-hosted lookup app, reached through the MyNAVSUP / NAVSUP Enterprise Web (NEW) application suite, that returns Navy-specific master data listings referenced by Navy supply personnel: Master Production List (MPL) data, Cognizance Symbol (COG) reference values, and Storage Location (SLOC) codes. Cognizance symbols are the two-character Navy codes that identify the appropriation/stock-fund category and the inventory manager responsible for an item; they are documented in Navy supply publications such as NAVSUP P-485.

Who operates it

The application is operated by Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) as part of its MyNAVSUP / NAVSUP Enterprise Web application portfolio, which NAVSUP migrated to the NAVSUP AWS GovCloud (NAG) environment (URLs under the nag.navy.mil domain).

Access

The application sits behind an F5 BIG-IP access-policy login gate (redirecting to /my.policy) at mynavsup.nag.navy.mil, consistent with NAVSUP's standard DoD PKI/CAC-authenticated remote access pattern for MyNAVSUP and NAVSUP Enterprise Web apps. A DoD CAC certificate registered with NAVSUP is required to log in; there is no public or guest view.

How logisticians use it

Navy supply and logistics personnel use these listings to verify master reference values (cognizance symbol, storage location, and related MPL data) tied to specific NSNs or Navy ERP records — for example, confirming which inventory manager or fund category a cognizance symbol represents, or checking a storage location code, during requisitioning, cataloging, or supply research.

Related systems

This tool is part of the broader MyNAVSUP / NAVSUP Enterprise Web (NEW) application suite operated by NAVSUP, which also includes NAVSUP One Touch Support (OTS), a separate CAC-gated help desk and information portal for Navy supply customers. Cognizance symbols referenced here overlap with the same COG codes documented in NAVSUP P-485 and used across other Navy supply systems and FEDLOG/NAVSUP P-2002 data.
