A user enters a shipment or tracking number and the site routes the query to the associated carrier's own tracking system. It is a private aggregator, not a U.S. Government system.
What it is
The site provides a single lookup point across numerous commercial carriers, organized alphabetically, including major international couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx, Aramex) and many regional and niche carriers, plus dedicated sections for air cargo, post/EMS, container, and bill-of-lading tracking. Entering a tracking number redirects the user to the matching carrier's tracking page rather than returning tracking data directly on track-trace.com itself.

Track-Trace.com is operated by Webfokus AS, a Norway-based company (Oslo) that has run the service since 1998 and also operates a Norwegian-language sister site, pakkesporing.no. It is a commercial operator, not a federal agency, and is not affiliated with any carrier it links to.
Access
The site is free and public with no login or account required. Webfokus provides a contact form for reporting technical problems with the site itself; shipment-specific questions are directed to the relevant carrier, not to Webfokus.
How logisticians use it
A logistician might use a commercial aggregator like this to quickly locate the right carrier tracking page for a commercial shipment without knowing which carrier's own site to search. It is not a tool for tracking DoD cargo within the Defense Transportation System — for that, the authoritative systems are USTRANSCOM's Integrated Data Environment/Global Transportation Network Convergence (IGC) and the Single Mobility System (SMS).
