Government Liquidation was Liquidity Services’ online marketplace for U.S. Department of Defense surplus and scrap, operating on more than 150 military bases. It has been folded into GovDeals, Liquidity Services’ government-surplus marketplace — govliquidation.com now serves only a transition notice, and legacy Government Liquidation accounts, watchlists, and bid history carry over to a GovDeals sign-in.
GovDeals hosts surplus and confiscated property from federal, state, and local agencies. DoD rolling stock (trucks, trailers, Humvees, and other vehicles) is sold separately through GovPlanet, an IronPlanet/Ritchie Bros. marketplace — not a Liquidity Services site — under contract with DLA Disposition Services.
