DB Schenker USA Shipment Tracking was the track-and-trace portal for DB Schenker, a commercial freight forwarder. The original tracking site at apps.dbschenkerusa.com was decommissioned October 1, 2023, and DB Schenker itself was acquired by Danish logistics group DSV, a sale that closed April 30, 2025. Shipment tracking for former DB Schenker customers is now handled through DSV's myDSV platform, alongside DSV's own tracking tools, while the two companies' systems are integrated. This is a commercial carrier service, not a U.S. Government system.
What it is
A commercial freight-forwarder shipment-tracking tool. Customers look up freight status using an Air Waybill (AWB) number, Bill of Lading (B/L) number, shipment ID, or their own customer reference number.
Who operates it
DSV A/S, a Danish transport and logistics company. DSV completed its acquisition of Deutsche Bahn's DB Schenker subsidiary on April 30, 2025; Schenker's operations and systems are being integrated into DSV through a multi-year transition. During the transition, DSV's support pages note that customers may need to use one of two versions of myDSV depending on whether their account originated with DSV or with the former DB Schenker (branded as "myDSV, formerly DB Schenker Connect"). Neither DSV nor the former DB Schenker is a federal agency or DoD component.

Public commercial tracking; no account is required to look up a shipment by reference number, though customers with recurring shipments can log in to myDSV for saved shipments and notifications. The tool once hosted at apps.dbschenkerusa.com/apps/Tracking/ is dead and displays a decommission notice; current tracking runs through DSV's self-service and myDSV pages.
How logisticians use it
A logistician who books freight through DSV/Schenker as a commercial carrier or forwarder can use this to check shipment status. It has no role in Defense Transportation System visibility. For DoD cargo movement and in-transit visibility, the authoritative government tools are USTRANSCOM's systems, not any commercial carrier's tracking portal.
